I knew the Swedes were good in digital marketing but this was a bit too much. “How the hell do they know my name?”, I went around thinking.

It seems there’s no dynamic content in the video and she just keeps on saying that. Nevertheless, haven’t felt this impressed and scared in a while. Have a look for yourself.

While many of the industries today are a reaction to many of the conditions out there and are through that creating huge businesses out of the opportunities – I believe there is a bigger opportunity missed by many: creating industries to proactively fight the possible out comes of our society today. Not many businesses go down this path as it’s harder to sell solutions to needs that haven’t been realised yet. Nevertheless, I believe there are a lot more opportunities in the food industry than just exercise and low fat alternatives that are out there today.

Decided to do a little video update on a documentary I saw last night, Afghanistan: On the dollar trail, by Paul Moreira. Great documentary, and I go through some of the points in the short video above.

I did a quick time lapse movie during Christmas in Kuortane. We visited Tuurin Kyläkauppa, which is the second largest retail store in Finland sales wise. The shop itself was one large warehouse and of the kind that did not amaze me too much, but the ride there and back was nice as I’d never been there.

The drive also gave me a chance to test my good old IXUS 950 and how it performs in video mode with different settings. The movie is shot with 1 second intervals and then bound together to 15 fps speed. Canon did all this so it comes out as a nice ready video file itself.

This time I resorted to video to share my thoughts. Might do more of these in the future.

It’s not what what you’re trying to say, but how you’re saying it. Even though, I don’t agree with all the nitty gritty in the film – it’s extremely powerful in how things can be put across the table in different ways to make a powerful result.
