But I must admit I belong to the immidiate publishers when it comes to photos and videos of my 8-month-old daughter, in my Flickr account w. family settings. It's really cool to know that you're actually out there doing just that when you see the post and wondering what might happen next, instead of looking at a holiday 'photo album'. This is a big change in thinking I believe, because most of the population will not bother to update their web services during holiday and thus in some perspective would make these mobile sharing services obsolete. But all in all, I believe I'll try to harness the power of the free Wifi's in Europe when travelling - the roaming services are simply too much. If you are giving information on current road conditions and local events to potential fellow travellers - get it out there asap. If you want to capture pretty pictures and add spoken commentary later on the editing boead - wait till you get back to your desk. Provide immediate access via eg. Blip to unedited videos for your friends and family who want to follow your trip in real time. Then post the edited videos and embed them here once you get back, so that the rest can enjoy the highlights of your trip. Just a quick thought.
