Cyworld prepares for US launch

After eight months of Americanization Cyworld, a South Korean social networking site, is ready for launch in the US. Business 2.0 has an excellent article on the company and it’s intentions on growth.

Commercialisation of websites has never been very easy, but Cyworld surely masters this quite well as they bring in a steady revenue flow of 300 000 dollars a day – that makes about 7 dollars per user a year (and an annual revenue of 110 million dollars).
