Ok, if you missed the show - go get your copy of it from Radio Free Finland. We discussed the recent Sony DRM mess, along with the Olen Rikollinen? -campaign, blogging, podcasting and a whole lot more. Enough self promotion for today :)

interesting stuff- Cristy told me a bit about your radio stint- I tried to find a bit more about those court cases that were mentioned but there was a lot of stuff in Finnish. Is the basic premise that a guy is being sued for defaming someone on his blog? Is the defendant running the argument that blogs are a kind of quasi public/private space that you should be allowed to defame people on? Not sure if I completely agree with that idea- but again-I don’t really know all the details- ahh law.

Sorry I screwed up the first minute of the show. I didn’t realize that the stream didn’t start properly, but the live stream started fine, so everyone listening live heard the whole thing.

After the show, I re-recorded the intro, then jumped right to Antti talking about his blog, which was the very first topic, so podcast listeners didn’t miss much.

Thanks Antti for the interview, it was a lot of fun!

Thanks for yourself Phil - it’s amateur radio anyway so if it would go without a glitch nobody would believe us ;) But it was an interesting experience - thanks again.

Jamie: He said some stuff about the guy on his blog and I think the guy himself noticed the texts and contacted the police about them. But the problem is, while internet is very public - it’s at the same time very personal. I mean almost all blogs are very good examples of this, apart form organisational blogs and so forth.

I dunno, it’s gonna be interesting to see though what happens with the case.
