MoBlogging frenzy
June 20th, 2004If you read this site through an RSS reader, you might have noticed posts popping up all day. The reason for this has been my experimentation with different moblogging software. I posted my entries to my current blog (the one you are reading) from Mfop2.
The downside of using this excellent service is takes approximately 3 hours for the post to show up on my blog - I’m not sure of the reason yet. The service is absolutely excellent, enabling me to post my moblog stuff into my main blog under a moblog category. The only thing I’m wondering about right now is whether to keep the moblogged entries integrated with my current blog or create a new blog for them.
What do you guys think?

I think it depends on the frequency of posting. if you have more moblogs than other posts, then i would separate it. otherwise you jampack your blog “only” with moblogs,… but if you just plan to moblog once in a while, i would definitly include it into your blog.
if i would have included my moblog into the “regular” (i know it’s not really a blog ;)) you would not find any posts between all the pics ;)
I think you’re right - I thought about that myself as well. I think I’m going to have to update my blog once again in August or something, when I have some spare time… my life is pretty damn hectic at the moment (the cottage building and rushing to meet deadlines for a few www-projects).
Anyways, I’ll plan to do some redesigning later on… as I’m already becoming too attached to the moblog thing :)
