I thuoght of getting some airtime today as I had just “numbered” my wing and drawn the numbers on it yesterday. The numbers turned out great - I think. Anyways, today is a big day for those high school leavers, and that is a good enought reason to go outside and check out the atmosphere. I’m gonna have to take the car tonight as my financial situation is pretty crap, but it will be fun as well. Also, we’re gonna put on our suits, so we fit in :)

Oh yeah, going back to the point of flying, the wind was too strong there, so no flying for this weekend. We were supposed to have a small competition among our club’s flyers, however that will have to be decided another time. Happy weekend!

Yee yee, felt like a kid again when I mowed the lawn first time for this summer. Somehow it looks like I will be doing that quite many times this summer as I will be totally unemployed. Anyways, good exercise and at least I didn’t have to use this machine (From the British Lawnmower museum!!!) to do it.

What 2 weeks it has been - 6 days of work and hanging around in Kuopio. I worked 6 days for the company until I saw an attachment to the work agreement that I simply could not accept, therefore I had to let go of the position. I will not go into detail - however I have had some sympathy from my friends on this behalf, so I know I did the right thing. As of last tuesday, I’m once again unemployed.

I have a few plans for the summer, but to be honest - I’m going through a pretty bad situation. But things have a tendency to get sorted out someway… at least I hope so. More updates to come this week!

Happy mothers day! I spent this year’s mothersday watching ice hockey and trying to stay awake. I went out yesterday with my old flatmate from Mikkeli and it was cool catching up what he had been up to lately. We went out to Tamino, which was quite empty but don’t know why really, it was saturday after all. Team Canada did what we should have done a few days ago - beat Sweden. Well, good for them! I’m having a very hard time trying to stay awake, so I think I will go and sleep. Tomorrow I have to try and sort out this and that for Kuopio… I’m really excited as it will be my first ever “real” job :) Yee… ok, I’ll write some more tomorrow. Have a nice sunday evening!

Just came back from the “city”. I went for a pint with my friend to Olutravintola Sillansuu, which I think can honestly be called one of the few real pubs in Savonlinna. Its atmosphere is one that makes it so. Other pubs here are some kind of Finland-England mixups that really are places where Finns go and enjoy their drinks, but not really honestly sort of a pubs that you (or at least I) would expect. I think this weblog section is becoming more sort of an area where I post my thoughts and so on more often, so it is not really an area where I only post the update info. I think its time I went to sleep… good night!

Wappu was here again. My god, where do all these parties come from or am I just too eager to participate in all of them. Well, maybe the latter is more closer to the reality. I will be going paragliding tomorrow, depending on the weather, then on 5.5. I got a job interview in Kuopio, hope it goes well. Monday evening/tuesday will be spent putting up new photos, so make sure you come back to check those.
