Heating problem

Wow, today was a tough morning. I had to get up at 8.30 to wait for the “gasman” to show up and change the bottles as we’d otherwise runout of warm water or the ability to cook. This country in some sense is a bit backwards sometimes. Mikko and Elina went to school and I had to stay behind to wait for the gasman, but alas, here I am.

I have been busy with reading Understanding the sky by Dennis Pagen, a weather book. I need to educate myself a bit more on the weather and meteorology itself as its a very important part of a pilots knowledge, might save lives. I met a Swedish girl who had heard of my flying in Granada and she wants to come and see the sport for real and maybe later try a tandem flight. Cool :)

We’ve also been thinking of doing a trip to Barcelona with Mikko and Elina. The most probable time for this trip is sometime next week. We’d be away for a week and visit the northern Spain during that time, all the way to the Pyrenees. And, if possible catch some sun in Alicante, depending on the weather of course. But that’s about it for now… L8r!

November…

Just chilling out and having a beer or two. Armando left us this morning and he will fly to Brasil from Madrid (to FLY!), that bastard ;). Oh well, can’t always win. I’ve set a challenge for my self to study this week… funny isn’t it?

I’ve been to all the lecturers this week and it has been almost too much. Well, I gotta get the school sorted out and get all the classes sorted out as well, after all, it has been 2 months already, when i started studying here ;)

What else… hmmm… nothing really. Except we went to Algodonales, close to Sevilla for 3 days to fly with Armando and Alec, a pioneer in paragliding. Alec has been paragliding since 1987 or 88 and that makes him a person with 15 years of flying experience on the paraglider, don’t find too many of those nowadays, don’t you?!

Well, until next time. Time to get another beer…
